Today we have the fifth nominee for the August edition of Sweatshirt Blanket’s Spread Your Warmth campaign, the Spina Bifida Association of Northwest Ohio. The SBA of Northwest Ohio was founded in 1975 by a group of parents looking to find support from one another.

Our next nominee for the August edition of the Spread Your Warmth campaign is the Crusade for Children. They were established in 1954 by WHAS-TV in Louisville, Kentucky to help raise money for agencies, schools and hospitals to better the lives of special needs children.

Craniosynostosis Halloween 5K

Our good friends at CAPPS passed along some information about a Halloweek 5K they have launched together with the Jorge Posada Foundation and the CSEA 830 to raise funds and create awareness for craniosynostosis. This is their first annual event and we obviously wish them all the best for it to be a great success.
