Operation Christmas Child

Today we have the seventh nominee for June’s Spread Your Warmth campaign. Operation Christmas Child is global Christmas gift exchange operated by Samaritan’s Purse. Of all of the nominees we have had through the first three months of the campaign OCC is one that I actually have some personal experience with.

A Better World

The sixth nominee for this month’s campaign is A Better World. Their mission is to transform the community (specifically the Ashley Park and surrounding area in Charlotte, North Carolina) and its families through its youth (K-12) by building their mental, emotional and spiritual character.

Be the Match – The National Marrow Donor Program

June 19, 2010

The latest nominee for Sweatshirt Blanket’s Spread Your Warmth campaign for June is Be the Match – The National Marrow Donor Program. They are nonprofit organizations dedicated to creating an opportunity for all patients to receive the bone marrow or umbilical cord blood transplant they need, when they need it. Every year, thousands of people of all ages are diagnosed with leukemia and other life-threatening diseases.

Our latest nominee in the June 2010 edition of the Spread Your Warmth campaign is FACES: The National Craniofacial Association. FACES is a non-profit organization serving children and adults throughout the United States with severe craniofacial deformities resulting from birth defects, injuries, or disease.

Operation Surprise Attack

After an unexpected delay we are back with the first of the Spread Your Warmth Nominees for June 2010. Today’s nominee is Operation Surprise Attack who was created for the sole purpose of surprising sick children with an act of kindness. Operation Surprise Attack started when founder Lisa Fulton was connecting with old friends on Facebook.
