The next nominee in the Spread Your Warmth campaign comes from a blogger I’ve had the pleasure of meeting in real life, Melanie at Modern Mami. She has chosen to nominate the Coalition for the Homeless of Central Florida.

The Coalition was created in 1987 by a group of concerned citizens who noted a growing problem of homelessness in the community.

Childhelp, the third nominee for the Spread Your Warmth campaign, comes to us from another blogger friend and author of the new book Tales from the Trips about his life as a father to triplets, John Cave Osborne. Founded in 1959 by Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson, Childhelp is a leading national non-profit organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and neglect.

SIDS of Illinois was founded in 1968 by parents who had lost a child to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) as a way to help create a peer support system for newly bereaved parents.

Wediko Children’s Services is a not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that has been serving children, families, and schools since 1934.
